Gavin Armand

Gavin grew up in Saint Amant before moving to Baton Rouge. Before insurance, she was a stay-at-home mom. She then spent three years at a captive insurance agency, where she realized there are a lot more options out there than one company can offer. More options means she can help more people, so she joined Chabert, an independent agency.

Her favorite part of the job is helping people find policies that actually fit them. One thing she wishes more people understood is the difference between the limits the state requires and the limits you actually need. She once sat down with a business owner who wanted state minimum liability. After they talked through what he had to protect, he chose higher limits and added an umbrella policy.

At home, Gavin has her partner Trevor, their 4-year-old daughter Avina, and their dog Tripp. A good weekend for her means family time around a fire in the winter or on the river in the summer. She loves country concerts, cheers for LSU, and can read music from her days on the drumline in school.
