Zach Walters

Zach grew up in Denham Springs and stayed in Baton Rouge for college at LSU. What he likes about insurance is the part where you actually help someone get what they need. What frustrates him is when an agent skips the crucial details that would matter if a client ever has to file a claim.

He had a client recently whose policy was written incorrectly. If they'd had a claim on the home, it likely wouldn't have been paid. Zach remarketed it with the right information, and they ended up with both peace of mind and a more affordable policy. The biggest thing he wishes more people understood is how a carrier actually calculates the cost to rebuild your home, because that's where a lot of homeowners are underinsured without realizing it.

At home it's Zach and his girlfriend Rachel. A perfect Saturday is waking up early, grabbing Starbucks, and spending the day at home playing video games or watching their favorite shows. He's a big LSU football fan, plays D&D and Magic: The Gathering with his closest friends, and dreams about taking a trip to Japan or South Korea.
